ANSGAR STOCK - A new generation of electronic music

I´m an 15 year old boy from Germany. Besides the normal things kids do I have something special. I´m composing electronic music. 

Musically I like to combine classic electronic music with various influences like Techno, EBM, Electro, Rock, Synthpop. I call my style Future EM.

At the age of 6 I decided to start playing synthesizers. By doing household chores and saving money and Dad buying second hand instruments for me I managed to establish a small home studio.

From 2016 to 2019 I composed a dozen pieces of music. I also had the great honour to compose a long track of music together with Tommy Betzler who is the former drummer of electronic music pioneer Klaus Schulze. 

From 2018 on my tracks were played many times on radio and in the beginning of 2019 I was nominated for winning the Schallwelle Awards for electronic music. In the end I got the 3rd place as a Newcomer and 19th place as an artist in general besides big names like Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, etc.

In August 2019 my debut album "Episode I - A new generation" has been released by the dutch label Groove Unlimited.  

From 2017 to 2019 I played more than a dozen live gigs in Germany and the Netherlands. June 2020 has seen the release of my EP-CD Students Disco which I released to support my school. 

In August 2021 I met Yello co-founder and electronic music legend Carlos Perón who remixed my track Porsche Drive 911. Spring 2022 saw the release of the album "Ansgar Stock and friends - Porsche 911 the remixes". 

At the moment I´m working on the album Liquid Mirrors in Berlin school style as a tribute to Klaus Schulze who inspired me the most. It´s expected to be released in the first half of 2024.
